LaVar Ball on a Matchup With MJ: ‘He’s Not a 1-on-1 Player, He Has to Foul Me To Stop Me (VIDEO)
A few weeks ago, the father of UCLA freshman point guard Lonzo Ball, LaVar Ball, stated he could’ve beaten Michael Jordan back in his day.
“Back in my heyday, I would kill Michael Jordan one-on-one,” Ball said.
“I would just back [Jordan] in and lift him off the ground and call a foul every time he fouls me when I do a jump hook to the right or the left,” Ball said. “He cannot stop me one-on-one. He better make every shot ’cause he can’t go around me. He’s not fast enough. And he can only make so many shots outside before I make every bucket under the rim.”
On Tuesday’s edition of ‘The Undisputed’, he doubled down on those comments and explained how Jordan wasn’t a one-on-one player and would have to constantly foul him to actually stop him from scoring.
