Raiders Video Gives Sneak Peak of What NFL Football in Vegas Will Look Like (Video)
The Raiders are officially moving to Las Vegas. Now, thanks to a new video tweeted by the team’s official Twitter account, we have a better idea of what NFL football in Vegas will actually look like.
On Monday NFL owners voted 31-1 to approve the Raiders’ application for relocation. On Wednesday the team published a minute-long video giving us a virtual look at their new $1.7 billion stadium, which is slated to be built near the Luxor just south of the Las Vegas Strip.

You have to hand it to them. That’s a nice-looking stadium. It’s just a shame the team and the NFL aren’t paying for it themselves.
The State of Nevada and City of Las Vegas are giving team owner Mark Davis $750 million of public money to build a stadium he will own. That money is coming from an increase in hotel taxes and not existing revenue sources. But there are still a lot of people who think it would be better spent on the region’s cash-strapped public schools, which recently had to increase class sizes to save a measly $14 million.
But hey, it’s like the saying goes: You (the tax payers) have to spend money to make (more) money (for billionaires), right?
