Rougned Odor Signs Extension With Rangers For Lots of Money…and a Couple Horses (PIC)
As if six years and $49.5 million wasn’t enough, Rougned Odor got a little something extra in his contract that was announced yesterday.
The second baseman, known as much for his famous punch against Blue Jay Jose Bautista as he is for his production, is also getting two horses from the Texas Rangers, as is stipulated in his new deal.

It may sound crazy, but Odor actually rides every day of the offseason, so the request, as strange as it sounds, was a practical one.
Of course, if I was the Rangers, I would be a little concerned about the dangers of a newly re-signed player riding horses every day, but if they didn’t include this kicker, who knows where he would have ended up.
