Masters Jacket Bought for $5 at a Thrift Store Sells for $139,000 (Tweet)
You’ll often learn of rare paintings or collectibles getting picked up at garage or estate sales with the seller and buyer completely unaware of what has transacted until much later.
Well, one such purchase took place at a thrift store in Toronto, and the proceeds from its auction could net the seller a down payment on a new house.
One lucky buyer scored an original Masters green jacket from a secondhand shop (original owner unknown), and he has since auctioned the item off, netting himself almost $140,000.

I hope the person who won the auction wears it to dinner and out on the town. Otherwise, what’s the point?
