News continues to come out following the surprising prison suicide of Aaron Hernandez. This time, it’s a non-official report that the former New England Patriot had synthetic weed, known as K2, in his system following an analysis of his kidneys in an autopsy.

Strangely, the medical examiner’s office is calling it a “rumor,” which isn’t exactly a strong denial, but rather could be an attempt to postpone the discussion until official findings are made public.

There’s no timeline yet for when those results are expected to come in, according to TMZ, but it’s noted that K2 can be especially easy to smuggle into prison since the liquid can be soaked up by paper and appears to be little more than standard mail.

The source also claims that law enforcement raided the prison in search of the contraband, but there is no word yet on their findings.
