After an up and down season that saw numerous rumors of Paul George possibly being traded and an ugly first-round sweep in the playoffs at the hands of the Cavaliers, it was time for a change in Indiana.
Larry Bird, who has been in and out of the Indiana Pacers’ front office for 25 years, is reportedly stepping down.
Larry Bird is stepping down as Pacers president, league sources tell @TheVertical. Kevin Pritchard will take over basketball operations.

According to Yahoo Sports, the 60-year-old Bird will be replaced by Kevin Pritchard, the team’s general manager.
