It’s Official! Jay Cutler Joining FOX NFL Broadcast Team

Jay Cutler‘s career as an NFL quarterback is officially on hold after it was reported by Fox Sports’ Peter Schrager that he will be joining the NFL on Fox broadcast team.

More specifically, Cutler will be joining Kevin Burkhardt and Charles Davis in the booth during his first season behind the microphone.

Cutler had reportedly went in to audition with Fox for a job last week. Obviously he did enough to impress the network, as it didn’t take them long to hand the former Bears QB the job that was previously occupied by current San Francisco 49ers GM John Lynch.

After being released by Chicago this offseason, Cutler looked into joining either the Houston Texans or the New York Jets. But when he received zero interest from either in return, he began looking at other employment options.
