More details have emerged since Aaron Hernandez took his own life back on April 19th in his jail cell.
Last week, it was reported that many of the former Patriots TE’s close associates in prison talked about how upbeat Hernandez was before taking his life, even claiming he would make a comeback to the league one day.

His fiance, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez, is set to appear on an episode of Dr. Phil and she revealed how Hernandez talked about one day coming home just days before taking his own life.
“Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez said her fiance, former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, believed he was going to be freed from prison.
Per the Associated Press, Jenkins-Hernandez said during an upcoming appearance on Dr. Phil that Hernandez said “daddy’s going to be home … I can’t wait to hold you and love you” during a phone conversation shortly before he was found dead.”
Just more info that makes his death even more odd, especially if he was telling multiple people how he was trying to get out of prison one day.
