Minor League Brawl Features Player Throwing A Ball At Another Player’s Head (VIDEO)
Most of the time when benches clear in baseball, it’s just a bunch of ‘hold me back’ and pushing that rarely ever amounts to much of anything when it’s all said and done.
A minor league game on Sunday between the Dayton Dragons and West Michigan Whitecaps was not one of those times.
In the sixth inning, a bench-clearing brawl erupted after West Michigan shortstop Anthony Pereira appeared to purposely step on the foot of Dayton baserunner Jose Siri.
Things got a bit real when West Michigan relief pitcher Eduardo Jimenez ran onto the field with baseballs in hand and hurled one at a member of the Dragons.
