When you’re a high-profiled athlete, you run the risk by dealing with so-called Instagram models, who are always looking for an easy come-up in life.

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell thought he found one that would respond to his DMs, as many others probably have to him in the past, but he was clearly wrong.

Instagram model, A.K.A ‘Extreme Selfie Taker,’ Karen_vi decided to put Bell on blast recently for attempting to hop into her direct messages, and she was having none of it.

When you start lifting weights as opposed to slaving on the cardio machines, your body will change forever! This might be over discussed about on IG, but I get frequent questions on it, which means that many of you still don’t know, & that’s perfectly ok! No, you don’t need to do cardio before lifting, or lose weight before lifting. Just start. Yes, I am telling you that you will burn double the calories & fat with a lifting program. Why? Because the more muscle you have, the more you will burn. Lifting will sculpt your body, & too much cardio actually does the opposite for you. Some of you have said you lost a lot of weight with a diet change & doing a bunch of cardio, but don’t know why you’ve hit a plateau. Cardio is why, so start lifting & lay off be treadmill for a while. Do you need to completely stop doing cardio? No! It is very beneficial to your mental health, respiratory system, & heart. Activities like running, biking, hiking, or walking outside are enjoyable & relaxing. If you need to meet a certain calorie deficit a day or are competing, then adding cardio will help with that. Just as long as you learn how often you need to or how long to do it, or, make smarter choices by incorporating some HIIT instead. Everyone’s goals are different though, so if you hate lifting, then that’s fine too! There are other ways to stay healthy & fit. But, if your main goal is to grow your proportions, slim that waist, increase booty size & add muscle, get that ass in the weight room. (No, I don’t know how to flex properly because I never do )

I want y’all to know that despite my lack of posting & minor breaks, your support means the world to me whether I’m active on here or not. I’m thankful for each one of you that writes to me, leaves me comments, & showers my page with positivity. In reality though, you all inspire me & push me to be more of who I am. I see myself in every one of you, & I hope that you also see a little piece of yourself in me. – For as long as I have can, I hope that in some way I can keep on uplifting, making you laugh, relating, connecting & invoking your mind, heart & fashion sense through my platform & my voice. Wanted to share some thoughts tonight If you’re feeling low because you thought you would have it all figured out by now, don’t beat yourself up. It’s normal to feel lost & like you don’t have a freaking clue what you’re doing or where you’re going. Trust me sista/brotha, I’m right there with you. I used to say, I’m going to have the career of my dreams & make a shit ton of money by age 25, get married by 27, have kids by age 28 and etc.. Well, I’m 27, and I can tell you, my timeline is wayyyyyyy off. I used to think I was failing at life because I wasn’t like those others who looked like they had it all figured out, ALL. THE. DAMN. TIME. But guess what? They don’t. I realized that most of us are barely figuring stuff out too. And that’s normal. Know what else is normal? To feel lost & for life not to go as planned. Stop comparing yourself to others, & trust God’s timing, because he has a beautiful map for each and every one of us, whether it’s at age 25, 32, or 50. We will all get there. ❤️
