Toronto Raptors v Cleveland Cavaliers - Game Two

Immediately following Game 2 at Oracle Arena, a fight broke out in the stands and there was J.R. Smith, instinctively jumping in to shield King James.

According to Smith, that was no accident, as he believes that is one of the reasons he’s with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

“Yeah, I can’t let nobody get close to the King,” Smith said. “I’m one of his knights. That’s what I’m here for.”

The broadcast quickly cut away from the scuffle as I’m sure ABC wanted no parts of any type of violence on the network. Still, it’s evident that Smith made a concerted effort to get between James and the scuffle.
