Browns Cut Player Hours Before He’s Expected To Throw Out The First Pitch For Indians

The Cleveland Browns have been the laughing stock of the entire league for the better part of ten years, and it shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.

On Friday, Cleveland.com sports writer Zach Meisel announced that Browns safety Tyvis Powell would be throwing out the first pitch for the Cleveland Indians later on that night.

 

Just three hours later, the Cleveland Browns cut him from the roster.

According to Meisel, the team had no idea that Powell was scheduled to throw out the first pitch before they decided to waive him.

It turns out the Indians still wanted the 23-year-old to throw out the first pitch, even though he’s no longer on the Browns.
