The back-and-forth between Draymond Green and LeBron James continues.

The squabbling between the two began yesterday when Green wore a t-shirt poking fun at the Cavs during the Warriors’ Championship parade.  LeBron responded on Instagram, and Green quickly hit back at ‘The King.’

Well, apparently these two weren’t done after the t-shirt and baldness jokes. Now they’re on to arguing over who started the whole “Super Team” trend.

It began with Green accusing LeBron of starting the “Super Team” while speaking with USA Today at Thursday’s parade.

Here’s what Draymond said when asked about LeBron’s claim that he’s never been on a super team (via USA Today):

“They want to talk about super teams this, super team that, I never played on a super team,” Green said in reference to the Cavaliers star sharing that view of his career after the deciding Game 5 of the NBA Finals. “You started the super team, bro! I didn’t join a super team. Hey Slim (Kevin Durant), I don’t know what you just did Slim, but you did something to them boys. We appreciate you joining the super team…

“LeBron said he’d never been on a super team,” Green, still wearing his sunglasses as he stopped every few feet to take pictures with fans, explained to USA TODAY Sports. “As KD said before, (James) showed everyone it was possible to do that. And so, it wasn’t that (what James said) didn’t sit well with me. It didn’t bother me, but let’s just be clear. It was very surprising, because like I said, he was the one who opened the door for that. So let’s just be clear about it.”

What did LeBron think about Draymond’s assessment? Clearly, he did not agree with it.

Here’s what James had to say while appearing on Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye’s “Road Trippin’ Podcast” (via theScore):

“I mean in 2003, the Lakers combined Karl Malone, Gary Payton, (Shaquille O’Neal), and Kobe (Bryant). And in 1996, when (Michael) Jordan was retired, the Rockets joined Charles Barkley, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Clyde Drexler all on the same team. …

“I definitely didn’t start the superteam, if that’s what he’s trying to say.”

So there you have it. LeBron didn’t start the super team…or did he?

I wonder what these two will fight over next.
