Astros Fan Gets Ejected After Young Red Sox Fan Snitches On Him (VIDEO)
Minor League Baseball Team Trolled the $h*t Out of Tim Tebow All Weekend (Tweets)
As you probably know, former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow is now a professional baseball player in the New York Mets farm system. After making his pro debut in the Arizona Fall League, Tebow played a few games with the big leaugue club during spring training before eventually getting sent to the single-A Columbia (SC) Fireflies.
In case you haven’t heard, Timmy isn’t doing well down in South Carolina. Through 60 games he’s hitting .224/.319/.338 with three home runs and 66 strikeouts.
Tebow is still good for business, though. Even on the road.
Over the weekend the Fireflies made the two-hour drive down I-26 to Charleston for a weekend series against the RiverDogs, who spent three days trolling the hell out of poor Tim Tebow.
Every time a Columbia batter came to the plate, the jumbotron at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park showed their official photo and number. However, in the background was a photo of Tebow crying at the 2009 BCS Championship game. And instead of the player’s name it simply said “NOT TIM TEBOW.”

Savage. Absolutely savage.
That wasn’t all, though. Charleston RiverDogs mascot Charlie T. RiverDog also got in on the Tebow trolling. All weekend long he wore eyeblack with John 3:16 on it.
I’ve caught the Tebow fever. pic.twitter.com/l0UeNOqHQw

Ostensibly the RiverDogs are making fun of all the undeserved attention Tebow’s getting as a sub-par minor league ballplayer. But of course, nobody would be talking about the Charleston RiverDogs today if not for all the attention Tebow is getting. So, like I said, he’s still good for business.
