REPORT: Boston Celtics Interested In Trading For Kristaps Porzingis
The wild 2017 NBA offseason is in full effect and the NBA Draft hasn’t even started yet.
On Tuesday, NBA insider Adrian Wojnaroskwi dropped a bomb, revealing that Phil Jackson and the Knicks were open to trade Kristaps Porzingis for a top draft pick in this year’s NBA draft.
The Boston Celtics were immediately interested in such a scenario, according to RealGM.
“The Boston Celtics are amongst the teams interested in trading for Kristaps Porzingis.
The New York Knicks are considering trading away Porzingis this offseason with the relationship between player and franchise remaining severely strained.
Communication between the two sides has been cut off since Porzingis skipped his exit meeting.
The Knicks are said to be high on Josh Jackson in the draft and the Celtics own the third overall pick.”
