76ers Have Sold More 2017-18 Season Tickets Than Any Other Team
Sixers fans haven’t been this excited since Allen Iverson was the face of the franchise.
It took a while but 76ers fans are finally starting to trust the process and buy into what the team is attempting to build. Last year’s team may have only won 28 games, but with Ben Simmons slated to be healthy playing alongside Joel Embiid, and Markelle Fultz possibly joining the squad via the NBA Draft, this team is looking scary good for the future.
According to multiple reports, the 76ers have already sold 14,000 season tickets for the 2017-18 season, which is a franchise record, according to Jessica Camerato of CSN Philly.
“Fortunately we’re able to break the Sixers’ all-time record for season-ticket memberships,” Sixers chief sales and marketing officer Christopher Heck said. “That is a testament to the strong fandom that we believe not only is this a true sports town, but it’s a basketball town.”
The 76ers are looking to break into the playoffs for the first time since the 2011-2012 season.
