Manny Pacquiao: Conor McGregor Has ‘No Chance’ Against Floyd Mayweather In ‘Boring’ Fight
Unlike his mega-fight with Floyd Mayweather a few years ago, Manny Pacquiao doesn’t care to see another bout involving Mayweather and it has everything to do with his opponent.
The former eight-division champion was recently asked his thoughts on the upcoming boxing match between Mayweather and UFC lightweight champ Conor McGregor. He made it clear that Conor has no chance of winning on Aug. 26th.
“McGregor has no chance in this fight,” Pacquiao told Dan Wetzel of Yahoo! Sports. “In fact, it could be very boring.”
With zero professional fighting experience outside of MMA, McGregor hasn’t been given much of a chance by the majority of people in and around boxing. As a result, Pacquiao couldn’t care less about watching it. He plans on watching two other fighters who are actually skilled equally go toe-to-toe against one another.
“The real fight and the best fight is Golovkin vs. Canelo,” Pacquiao said. “The best versus the best. That’s the fight I will be watching.”
This Saturday, Pacquiao defends the WBO welterweight title against Jeff Horn in Brisbane, Australia.
