Over the weekend, former players from bitter Mexico rivals Club America and Pumas met for a friendly match in Santa Ana, only things didn’t stay friendly for long. Fans stormed the field at halftime, exploiting sparse security when the Club America fans went over to antagonize Pumas’ fans on their half of the field.

Here’s a clip of the madness. If you listen carefully, you can hear the announcer tell the fans in the most lethargic was possible to calm down:

The two teams have a bitter rivalry in Mexico, so this isn’t completely unexpected, but still a little surprising given the nature of this game.

So far, there are no reports of any injuries, so I suppose we can enjoy this riot footage guilt-free, right?
