NBA Teams Plotting To Sign Iguodala & Others Players on Warriors Just To Weaken The Team

2017 NBA Finals - Game Five

Unlike any other team in recent memory, the Golden State Warriors have the entire league in an absolute frenzy after they saw the way the Dubs rolled through the playoffs, only losing one game en route to their second championship in three years.

After dismantling the best team in the Eastern Conference with LeBron James in his prime, teams around the league are reportedly trying to switch things up rather quickly.

Instead of trying to create a super-team of their own, other franchises are looking to purposely sign Andre Iguodala and other players on the Warriors, not because they actually want them, but because they want to weaken a currently-unstoppable Warriors club.

“A significant number of personnel within NBA circles have come to the conclusion that rather than building a superteam, it’s much more economically feasible and expeditious to just pluck away talent from the Bay Area juggernauts.”

Chip away at the core and hopefully one of the stars leave in due time.
