Former NFL Player De’Von Hall Accused of Killing His Own Mother
Group of NFL Players Invest in 12-Year-Old Girl’s Lemonade Business (Video)
You could call it an act of charity or kindness, but more than likely, this group of NFL players, both former and current, know a good opportunity when they see it.
At 12-years-old, Mikaila Ulmer may be young for an entrepreneur, but she’s already got experience, having presented her lemonade stand concept, “Me and the Bees Lemonade” on Shark Tank. The product is her grandma’s recipe which uses honey and flaxseed instead of just sugar.
The investment opportunity caught the eye of Arian Foster, who then managed to get (via The Score) “Texans offensive tackle Duane Brown, former Texans running back Jonathan Grimes, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner, Detroit Lions safety Glover Quin, Lions cornerback Darius Slay, and other NFL players” to invest a total of $810,000.
Says the budding businesswoman about her new backers, “They’re very smart. I learned a lot from them in the past couple of hours. I’m very happy that I’m able to work with them and they invested in my company and them helping us and mentoring us and believing in our mission. I think we have a better chance of achieving our goals. That keeps me pumped and excited every day.”
