Stephen A. Smith Says McGregor Isn’t Racist For Calling Black People Monkeys: ‘He Isn’t Talking To Me’
Floyd Mayweather Reportedly Trademarks 49-1 Record
WAIT A MINUTE!
Floyd Mayweather retired from boxing in 2015 with a 49-0 record and most assumed he would eventually come out of retirement to get number 50. Nobody thought he would come out of retirement to face-off against UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor, but that’s exactly what he did.
Back in June, Floyd had filed five different trademark applications for the term 50-0. One month later, Mayweather has also reportedly trademarked the record 49-1, according to Terez Owens.
This could either be some type of Vegas ploy or the two are setting up a re-match to get even more money from people willing to throw away massive amounts of dollars to watch them fight.
