Earlier today, it was reported that prosecutors were not going to pursue rape charges against Michael Irvin after investigators determined they had no case against the former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver.

What didn’t help was the accuser’s toxicology report, which came up positive for several drugs including cocaine and MDMA—drugs she ultimately lied about taking in the beginning and then admitted to taking on her own.

Instead of pursuing a civil suit against the lady, the former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver held a press conference and stated how he actually felt sorry for her after reading her toxicology report. Irvin is even willing to help her financially and get her into rehab.
