Preseason in the NFL is right around the corner and the biggest topic throughout the 2016 NFL season continues to be the big topic headed into the 2017 season. Only difference is, this time, Colin Kaepernick doesn’t have a job in the league.

The Seattle Seahawks still remain the only team to have reached out and given the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback a shot, but nobody else has decided to kick the tires to see how much tread is left—and there’s plenty.

Once again, Kaepernick opting out of his contract is not why he’s job-less right now. The team was planning to cut him regardless. He was not going to be on the 49ers roster in 2017.

ESPN’s Josina Anderson is just the latest to speak out against the owners in the NFL and their treatment of Kaepernick.  She stated that if everybody was willing to look past what Michael Vick did (which resulted in prison time), then people should be able to look past a guy who kneeled silently in protest of racial injustice and give him a job.
