Baltimore Ravens Fans Threaten To Not Support Team If They Sign Colin Kaepernick (TWEETS)

In Baltimore, when you arrive outside M&T Bank Stadium, you will be greeted with a huge statue of former Ravens LB Ray Lewis, who has yet to reveal the location of that infamous white suit he was wearing in connection with the stabbing deaths of two men back in 2000.

I mention that because, when starting QB Joe Flacco went down with an injury earlier in the week, many believed this would be the opportunity for Colin Kaepernick to finally get another chance in the league, as owners and GM’s have been steering clear of him because of the backlash it would bring.

The Ravens experienced that backlash from their own fans when many reached out to the team to make sure they didn’t sign Kaepernick.

“After the Ravens expressed interest in signing Colin Kaepernick, who has been out of the league since protesting social injustice during the national anthem, the organization was reportedly flooded with calls opposing the move. Baltimore later signed a backup QB with a much less distinctive resume.”

On Twitter, however, fans made sure their social media voices were heard as they threatened to burn their season tickets or not be a fan anymore if Kaepernick is signed.
