Ray Lewis wants to see Colin Kaepernick back in the league, and he has a message for him when he does get that opportunity: Stay quiet about your social activism.

The former Baltimore Ravens linebacker posted a video message Tuesday in which he advises Kaepernick to not use the football field as a platform to try to promote social change.

“What you do off the field, don’t let too many people know,” Ray said … “because they gonna judge you anyway. No matter what you do. No matter if it’s good or bad.”

Ray added, “If you do nothing else young man, get back on the football field and let your play speak for itself.”

This message comes after the Baltimore Ravens have been heavily linked to Kaepernick, with the team also getting advice from former players such as Lewis regarding the route the franchise should take with Colin.

Lewis, who stated he has already spoken with Kaep, advised the franchise that he would not be bringing his National Anthem protest into the new season.
