Multiple federal agencies have investigated sexual harassment allegations against legendary college basketball coach Bobby Knight before and after a speaking engagement at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in July 2015. While these investigations have yet to be concluded, the evidence obtained makes Knight sound like a huge creep.

I know. This comes as a huge shock to us all.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency is a Department of Defence agency that analyzes satellite imagery for various intelligence operations. In 2015 NGA Director Robert Cardillo invited Knight to speak to agency employees as part of the Director’s Distinguished Speaker Series. Ten days after Knight’s visit to the NGA’s Maryland headquarters, the agency’s Inspector General was tipped off about possible sexual harassment by Knight during his visit. A subsequent investigation by the NGA found five female employees who said Knight sexually harassed them verbally and physically.

The investigation was initially reported by the Washington Post. Deadspin obtained the NGA case report via a Freedom of Information Act request. The report details the allegations made against Knight.

Two women, at least one of whom was corroborated by a witness, said the former college basketball coach slapped and groped their buttocks. A third woman said Knight massaged her shoulders during a car ride and said he could tell she was an athlete by watching her from behind. A fourth woman said he hugged her in a way that felt inappropriate. And a fifth woman said he slid his arm “down the side of her body and over her hip” as she pulled away from an awkward hug.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency did not come to a conclusion with its investigation. Instead, they sent the information they obtained to the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command, who in turn sent it to the FBI. It’s unclear whether or not the FBI will act on this information.

Who would have thought a guy known for throwing chairs and choking his own players would turn out to be such a douchebag?
