BIG3 - Week Five

Over the weekend, the BIG3 turned up in Dallas to play a couple of games, only to find out that one of its biggest stars didn’t even bother to make the trip.

Allen Iverson decided to stick around at the previous BIG3 stop in Chicago and gamble the night away. He was seen gambling in the early morning hours on Sunday, even though he was slated to be playing a game later that day all the way in Dallas.

He has since released the following statement and apologized for his actions:

“First and foremost, I apologize to Ice Cube & my BIG3 family, my fans and everyone disappointed by my absence in Dallas this past weekend.”

“I have spoken with Ice Cube directly regarding the details of my absence. I will do my best to make up for this moving forward on the Big 3 tour.”

Ice Cube and the powers to be still have a job to do, so they suspended the 3′s Company player and head coach for 1 game for blowing off the BIG3 in Dallas.
