Eagles’ Lane Johnson Says He’ll Buy Beer For Every Fan If Eagles Win Super Bowl

New York Giants v Philadelphia Eagles

Lane Johnson is trying to put his money where his mouth is.

The Philadelphia Eagles right tackle is making a promise to the fan base that can score every single one of them free beer if the team can just win the Super Bowl this year.

He told ESPN.com, “I have a lot to prove to this city. I think if we have a few big years and make the playoffs, if we win a Super Bowl, I’m giving out beer to everybody.”

Hopefully, the big guy can actually not violate the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances like he did twice last year—costing him 10 games. It really hurt the team, as they went 2-8 in that span while being 5-1 while Johnson was in the lineup.

The Eagles kick off their Super Bowl beer run September 10 against the Washington Redskins.
