REPORT: Ravens Owner Steve Bisciotti Blocking Kaepernick Signing & Other NFL Owners Doing The Same

by: Darrelle Lincoln On  Wednesday, August 2, 2017

San Francisco 49ers v Los Angeles Rams

Despite Baltimore Ravens president Dick Cass stating his team has had direct conversations with Colin Kaepernick, and owner Steve Bisciotti publicly stating he has consulted with former players on signing him, it looks as if it is all smoke and mirrors.

Head coach John Harbaugh and general manager Ozzie Newsome are both on board with bringing Kaepernick on the team right now, but owner Steve Bisciotti is blocking any efforts to have him signed to the squad. And he isn’t the only owner doing so.

This recent report pretty much puts to rest the argument of whether or not the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback is being blackballed because of his Nationa Anthem protest. The Ravens have been getting a slew of backlash from fans who don’t want him signed to the franchise, with some even threatening to not support the team anymore.
