While the NFL may be done with Johnny Manziel, but Johnny isn’t necessarily done with football.

Speaking at the International Football Betting Conference in Costa Rica, he said that he’d love the opportunity to coach, preferably at the college level, if he’s not able to suit up in an NFL uniform again.

Of course, his behavior in recent years hasn’t even been deemed good enough to play, so leading a bunch of 20-year-old kids may be a bridge too far at this stage. But he’s kept his nose clean recently, so perhaps he’ll find an opportunity in the near future.

When asked about other pursuits outside of playing, Manziel replied, “I’d do something involved with sports. I can’t get away from it. I’ve had to ask myself that a little bit as of late over the past year, but at the same time I’d want to be involved in sports in some way, whether it’s coaching, whether it’s doing something like that. So I think that’d be my route.”
