Chicago Bears v Dallas Cowboys

After a standout rookie season, Ezekiel Elliott will have to a while to begin his sophomore year in the league.

The Dallas Cowboys running back finally learned his fate after the conclusion of the NFL’s investigation into his domestic violence allegations.

Elliott was accused of five incidents of domestic violence during a six-day period in July 2016. There was also an incident back in March, when he was caught on videotaped pulling a woman’s top down at a St. Patrick’s Day parade.

The Dallas Cowboys begin their season September 10th in New Jersey, where they’ll face-off against the New York Giants. Elliott is scheduled to return on October 29th against the Washington Redskins.
