Roger Goodell Attends Patriots Game For First Time Since 2015, Takes Photo With Fans (PIC)
The last time Roger Goodell stepped foot in Gillette Stadium to watch the New England Patriots play was back in 2015. He was set to make his highly-anticipated return to the Pats’ home when they raise their Super Bowl LI banner during their 2017 season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs on September 7, but apparently he didn’t feel like waiting that long.
The NFL commissioner was spotted in the stands during the Patriots’ preseason opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Foxborough last night:

He even took a moment to snap a photo with some fans who appear to be over the whole DeflateGate saga following the Pats’ Super Bowl victory:

They look pretty happy about seeing Goodell now, but I bet the mood changes and the hate is restored once the regular season kicks off in just under a month’s time.
