Aroldis Chapman

The New York Yankees were just a few outs away from securing a series win over their hated rivals, the Boston Red Sox. It seemed like a win was in the bag as their $86-million closer Aroldis Chapman was on the mound to shut the door.

Yankees fans were on their feet, ready to celebrate the win…until Red Sox rookie Rafael Devers spoiled the party by smashing a pitch to left-center field to tie the game 2-2.

One Yankees fan in attendance turned his phone on and recorded what he thought would be a victory celebration. What we got instead was the reaction of a distraught and confused looking fan, along with the people behind him, all of whom appeared to have had their hearts ripped out of their chests.
