Update: 70K Roger Goodell Clown Towels Will Now Be Given Out During Patriots First Game
It was just a few weeks ago when Barstool Sports—who created the now infamous Roger Goodell clown shirt that was sported by Pats defensive coordinator Matt Patricia—announced a plan to pass out 30,000 Goodell clown shirts when the commissioner comes to Gillette Stadium for the first time since the 2015 AFC Championship game.
Goodell decided to get his feet wet before the September 7th visit, taking a trip to Gillette during a preseason game. That prompted Barstool to change the quantity from 30,000 to 70,000 clown towels to be given out to raging Patriots fans.
