Hank Aaron Thinks Colin Kaepernick Is “Getting A Raw Deal”; Plans To Boycott The NFL (AUDIO)
If there’s anybody that knows what it is like to have hatred and racism spewed his way, it’s Hank Aaron.
The Home Run King recently had an interview with Roland Martin on The Tom Joyner Show. He said Kaepernick was “getting a raw deal,” from NFL owners in the wake of last year’s national anthem protests.
“I think he’s getting a raw deal,” Aaron said. “If you look at all the quarterbacks in the league right now, he is one, two, three, four. I don’t think anybody can do the things he could do. I wish somebody would open up and give him a chance to do his thing.”
Aaron really appreciated the fact that so many Cleveland Browns players kneeled together in support of what Kaepernick is fighting for and against, but he wishes more players would follow suit
“I’d love to see some other players stand up,” Aaron said. “I would love that, I think it would give him incentive, I think it would help him.”
“I wish somebody would open up and give him a chance,” Aaron said.
Aaron also stated he would not be watching the NFL this year, because of how Kaepernick is being treated.
