J.J. Watt Has Now Raised $10 Million For Hurricane Harvey Victims
Imagine not only being the face of a franchise, but having hundreds of thousands of people trust you to do the right thing with their money and continue to donate to a worthy cause.
J.J. Watt knows that feeling.
The Houston Texans defensive end started a campaign on Sunday night to bring in $200K for the victims of Hurricane Harvey. But he steadily had to raise the amount as the money kept pouring in at an insane rate.
It took hours for him to get to $1 million, and now he has brought in over $10 million to the Houston area, where so many people have died or have been displaced because their homes are now destroyed by flood waters.
