Ezekiel Elliott Admits To Drug Use In College, Drinking A Lot, & Non-Stop Partying
According to documents obtained by Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, Ezekiel Elliott reportedly admitted under oath to using drugs while at Ohio State.
The Dallas Cowboys running back was in New York for his appeals when he was asked if he likes to party and do drugs.
From the report:
While under oath and being cross-examined by an NFL attorney, Elliott was asked about his social life.
“I do like to party,” he said.
Attorney: And like to get drunk?
Attorney: You like to do drugs?
Elliott: I did in college.
NFL investigator Kia Roberts then asked his former girlfriend Tiffany Thompson, whose domestic violence accusations ultimately got him suspended, if she witnessed Zeke using drugs while at Ohio State.
Roberts asked Thompson if she ever saw Elliott take cocaine.
Thompson: I did.
While Elliott continues to fight his six-game suspension, the 2nd-year running back filed a lawsuit on Friday against the league. The NFLPA also filed a temporary restraining order to block the suspension and get him on the field.
After a 13-month investigation, NFL investigator Kia Roberts believed Zeke should not be suspended. She was also the only league investigator who spoke to the victim. However, she was essentially barred from speaking at a Roger Goodell hearing on the punishment for Elliott.
