Kansas City Chiefs’ Marcus Peters Sits During National Anthem (VIDEO)
It’s finally here. The start of a brand new NFL season. And is started just like the previous season, with a player seated during the playing of the national anthem.
This time around, it was Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters who decided not to stand during the anthem. NBC commentator Al Michaels didn’t sound too pleased about it.
If you follow Peters on social media, then this was no surprise as he also had a special message on his cleats for the season opener.

Last season, Peters raised his fist during the anthem. And he rode a stationary bike during the anthem before a preseason game just a few weeks ago.
