Famous old crank Mike Ditka has some thoughts on the whole National Anthem controversy in the NFL. The famously conservative coach has sounded off about players sitting during the anthem out of protest, and while he believes they do have the right to do it, he doesn’t have to like it.

He calls them malcontents and says they better change their tune when that anthem plays on 9/11.

Believe it or not, he’s actually softened his stance since stating they should all be deported. So…progress?
