Tom Brady ‘Certainly Hopes’ Colin Kaepernick Can Play In The NFL Again (VIDEO)
Last week, Tom Brady called in to WEEI Radio and was asked if he’s paid any type of attention to the Colin Kaepernick situation. He made it clear that he doesn’t pay any attention to what other guys are doing, as his only focus is the next football game.
In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning that aired Sunday, the New England Patriots quarterback was asked if he thought Kaepernick could play in the NFL again.
“I sure hope so,” Brady said. “I’ve always watched him and admired him, the way that he’s played. He was a great young quarterback. He came to our stadium and beat us and took his team to the Super Bowl in 2012.”
Back in 2012, Kaepernick led the 49ers to a 41-34 victory over the Patriots after New England erased a 28-point deficit in the second half.
“He accomplished a lot in the pros as a player and he’s certainly qualified,” Brady said. “I hope he gets a shot.”
