Former Chiefs RB Larry Johnson Says He Is Living With CTE
Although many former players may suffer from the degenerative brain disease CTE, there are no known tests that can state with certainty whether you have it or not while still alive.
This past Thursday, the shocking news came down that former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez had stage 3 CTE, which no doctor has ever seen in a former football player as young as Hernandez.
On Friday, another revelation came out when former Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson revealed that he is currently living with chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
This is how he revealed it:
“Physician Eugene Gu tweeted: “Aaron Hernandez had advanced CTE. The NFL must address this devastating occupational health hazard for all its players. Immediately.”
To which Johnson replied: “If he had it. I know for certain I’m living with it. Even if he had the chance to test for it, they still wouldn’t of found it.”
