Packers Fans Threaten To Return Shares, Tickets After National Anthem Demonstrations
REPORT: Trump Called Jerry Jones Multiple Times To Influence Cowboys Not To Protest During Anthem
On Monday Night Football earlier this week, all eyes were on the Dallas Cowboys. Everyone wondered whether any players would dare try and protest during the National Anthem, especially since owner Jerry Jones had publicly stated his distaste for the demonstrations on numerous occasions.
To everyone’s surprise, Jerry linked arms with some of his players and kneeled BEFORE the National Anthem. He and the team then proceeded to stand before the actual song began.
A new report now suggests that President Donald Trump tried frantically to call his friend Jerry Jones before the Cowboys took on the Arizona Cardinals. He wanted to talk to Jerry i n an attempt to try and influence him not to take part in any sort of anthem protest.
2 sources told @nbcdfw President Trump blew up Jerry’s cell Mon calling him 4 times throughout the day to talk about anthem stuff. Wow.

On Wednesday, Trump took to Twitter and expressed his admiration for what the Cowboys did.
Spoke to Jerry Jones of the Dallas Cowboys yesterday. Jerry is a winner who knows how to get things done. Players will stand for Country!
