Coach Fired for Kneeling After Games to Pray: ‘Why Don’t I Have the Same Rights as Kneeling-Protesters?’ (VIDEO)
LFL Star Says NFL Players Kneeling Is Weak & Makes Black Players Look Submissive (VIDEO)
Earlier this week, the Legends Football League made it a point to take a subtle shot to the NFL with a promo that let their dozen or so fans know that their players stand for the National Anthem out of respect for the country.
Now Legends Football League star Ogom Chijindu is speaking out. She recently told TMZ that kneeling players make them seem weak and submissive, while other races continue to stand.
“We’re supposed to have a 1st Amendment right is that not correct? So for someone, anyone, I don’t care who it is to tell me I have to sit, stand, kneel, or do any type of gesture I feel is inappropriate.”
She also made it a point to say she agrees with Colin Kaepernick’s politics, but the kneeling has to go.
“Who told Colin Kaepernick to start kneeling instead of sitting, I’m not trying to be mean. I’m not sugarcoating it, it was a white Navy S.E.A.L.”
“For me the image that is now out there is African citizens of America are on their knees in submission, while other ethnicities be it white or any other race is standing.”
