Alex Morgan and MLS Pals Kicked Out of Disney World for Being Drunk and Disorderly
USWNT star Alex Morgan partied a little too hard at Disney World on Sunday. According to an incident report obtained by TMZ, she and a group made up of several MLS players, including her husband, Orlando City midfielder Servando Carrasco, were kicked out of a restaurant for being “impaired and verbally aggressive.”
The incident all started when Orlando City player Giles Barnes apparently cut in front of another patron in line and got into a verbal argument. Soon Barnes’ teammate, Donny Toia got involved, as did his wife, Coutrney Toia, and Morgan.
When the police arrived, they were all behaving like a bunch of belligerent drunks.
“As we passed Spaceship Earth, I observed several people being escorted to the front [of the park’s U.K. pub],” a deputy wrote in the report. “They were all being very loud and belligerent toward staff around guests.
“I observed a white female, who was later identified as Alexandria Morgan yelling, screaming and [taking] video and possibly pictures. She appeared to be highly impaired.
“Deputy Johnson heard Ms. Morgan make a loud verbal statement that she knows the Orlando SWAT team.”
Earlier Sunday, Morgan posted a photo of her group of friends at Epcot, apparently before they started boozing.
Luckily, Alex Morgan, Giles Barnes, and the Toias are all getting off with trespassing warnings. No charges were actually filed.
Orlando City, which runs both the MLS team and Morgan’s Orlando Pride, issued a statement on the matter Tuesday.
“The Orlando City SC organization is aware of a situation that occurred at Walt Disney World’s Epcot theme park earlier this week and is awaiting official communication from Disney or the Orange County Police Department. The club will address the matter internally when there is a full understanding of what occurred.”
The lesson? Don’t get wasted and belligerent at Disney World! Or do get wasted, but not belligerent.
