Donald Trump Says He Told Mike Pence To Leave Colts-49ers Game If Players Disrespected Country By Kneeling

On Sunday, Vice President Mike Pence was draped in Indianapolis Colts gear to watch his team take on the San Francisco 49ers, but it went sour rather quickly.

After standing for the National Anthem, Pence couldn’t help but notice the many players on the 49ers kneeling, so he made the decision to leave the game altogether.

He quickly took to Twitter to announce that he had left, although it seemed as if that statement was previously prepared because of how quickly it was posted.

It turns out it wasn’t his decision alone, as President Donald Trump also took to Twitter and stated he was the one who asked Pence to walk out if any players ‘disrespected the country.’
