Social Media Reacts to Cleveland Indians Blowing 2-0 Lead To Yanks in ALDS (TWEETS)

Last year, the Cleveland Indians became the butt of many jokes when they blew a 3-1 series lead to the Chicago Cubs in the World Series, ending the Cubs’ championship drought at 108 years while extending their own to 68 seasons.

This year was supposed to be the year of redemption for Cleveland.  After winning an American League-best 102 games in the regular season, the Indians were a popular pick among many to win the 2017 World Series.  And they appeared to be well on their way after taking the first two games in their ALDS against the New York Yankees.

But then, just like last year, the wheels fell off and the Indians saw a two-game lead evaporate into thin air. That Yankees cruised in Games 3 and 4 in the Big Apple before completing the comeback in Cleveland on Wednesday.
