Georgia LB Natrez Patrick Arrested Hours After SEC Title Game For Possession of Weed
On Saturday, Georgia crushed Auburn in the SEC championship game. It was good vibes all around for the Bulldogs. They knew they were headed to their very first College Football Playoff.
A little over five hours after that game, one starter on that team would find himself in the back of a squad car while celebrating the win.
“Bulldogs starting linebacker Natrez Patrick was arrested on an undisclosed misdemeanor charge in Georgia, according to online records.
According to Barrow County inmate records, Patrick was arrested at approximately 11:50 p.m. Saturday and booked at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. The specific charge is not listed, but a local NBC affiliate reported that Patrick was arrested for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and was released Sunday morning.”
This does not bode well for his future as it is Patrick’s second time being arrested this season, and the third arrest of his college career, with both of those arrests being for marijuana possession.
