Eli Manning’s streak might be over, but he gets to start a new one on Sunday.

After another loss this past weekend with Geno Smith as the starting QB, head coach Ben McAdoo was shown the door along with GM Jerry Reese, and Giants fans rejoiced.

Now they have yet another reason to rejoice, as it was announced that Eli Manning would be getting his starting job back immediately, according to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.

“The Giants are expected to go back to Eli Manning as their starting quarterback, per source. Giants play at home vs Cowboys this week.”

Eli Manning’s impressive streak of consecutive starts, second to only Brett Favre’s, came to a tragic end for no apparent reason after a now-fired head coach and GM tried to convince the fan base that Geno Smith was the best QB on the roster right now.
