Steelers’ Mike Mitchell Says He Agrees With Jerry Jones; Roger Goodell ‘Has To Go’
On Monday Night Football, JuJu Smith-Schuster delivered a devastating blow to Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict and then proceeded to stand over him and taunt him. Burfict would be carted off the field shortly after and it was not a good look for JuJu.
The NFL announced on Tuesday that the Steelers receiver would be suspended one game for his actions, and one of his teammates became very vocal and heated about the league’s decision.
As soon as the news came down, Pittsburgh safety Mike Mitchell took to Twitter and blasted the league for the decision, He personally called out Commissioner Roger Goodell, even going so far as to call for his job to be taken from him.
Along with suspending JuJu, the league also handed down a one game suspension to Bengals safety George Iloka for his hit on Antonio Brown. Mitchell also spoke on that and praised Iloka, while informing Steelers fans not to attack him.
