LaVar Ball Gets Promoted To Head Coach of His Sons’ Lithuanian Team

by: Darrelle Lincoln On  Sunday, January 28, 2018

Vytautas Prienai v Zalgiris Kauno

LaVar Ball has already stated in the past that he could do a much better job coaching his son Lonzo Ball than the current Los Angeles Lakers staff, and he’s been trying to prove he’s worthy of the position while over in Lithuania.

The outspoken father made his coaching debut for Vytautas as an assistant this past week, leading his sons and teammates to a 147-142 victory over Alytaus Dzukija—not to mention, LaMelo and LiAngelo combined for 80 points during the contest.

On Sunday, the club decided it would be a grand idea to keep the good times rolling by promoting LaVar to head coach for today’s game.

Sunday marks the end of the Big Baller Brand showcase.
